  4. Alberta PNP draw CRS cut off 300:The latest Alberta PNP draw had a CRS requirement of 300 for a second time in May.
  5. Immediate family members of Canadian citizens and permanent residents who are exempt from travel restrictions are now able to obtain temporary resident visas (TRVs) or electronic travel authorizations (eTA).
  6. Canada’s Express Entry cut-off scores see yet another drop in CRS scores.
  7. India continues to lead the way: They accounted for 24 per cent of new PRs in the first four months of 2020.
  8. The Canadian Immigration Department invited 4000 immigrants in April 2020.

  • June 9, 2020: A total of 87 invitations for Skilled Immigrants (International Graduate) and Express Entry BC (Skilled Worker and International Graduate)
  • The same day (i.e. June 2, 2020): A total of 29 invitations for Entrepreneur Immigration – Base Category and another nine invitations for Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot
