Top PNP options for skilled jobs: An Overview!

If you’ve heard about Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), then you’re probably serious about immigrating to Canada. Canada’s provinces and territories run their own immigration programs as well, to nominate skilled applicants as per their requirements. Receiving a successful PNP invite means the applicant can apply directly for permanent residence.

1 - Nova Scotia Demand - Express Entry (Category B)

Express Entry Profile: Required

In-Demand Work Experience: Required

Application selection: First-come, First-Served

  1. 1. Category A : This is for Express Entry candidates who have got a valid job offer from a Nova Scotia employer for a full-time job. Most Express Entry candidates are not eligible for this position.
  2. 2. Category B : This is for Express Entry candidates who have at least 12 months of work experience in one of Nova Scotia’s in-demand occupations. Many Express Entry candidates qualify for this category!

If you are in the Express Entry pool and you have experience in one of the in-demand occupations listed, then Nova Scotia Demand – Express Entry will give you an opportunity to get nominated.

The Challenge: This PNP is closed almost for most of the year and opens once every 3/6 months. It accepts a small number of applications on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s very challenging to get your application submitted in that window. This is where a qualified ICCRC lawyer and representative could help you.
